yes, i believe in the spirits.. the spirits of the holy ghosts, the spirits of the dead, the spirits of my ancestors, the spirits of my multiple selves.. spirits overcome me.. have their way with me.. guide me.. lead me.. engulf me.. enlighten me.. the spirit connects my soul to the realm beyond humanity..

 

me in the flesh, me in the spirit, me in the spiritual realm.. meeting myself in the space where i tried my best to run away.. the me that is connected to all things.. the me that has known nothing but centuries.. the me that has lived and died and lived and died, has been bird and leaf and lemon, has sipped lemonade with Beyonce by the palm trees on Saturn.. has seen self in all things that live and all things that die.. the me that is God/dess, the me that holds the universe in my hands.. the me that has memory of all earth, all soil, all sounds.. here is the me that you fear most, the me that is dangerously empowered..

 

my spirit is unafraid of imagining the unimaginable.. she walks the world in a realm unknown to many men.. she explores freedom on her own terms.. she is the universe within.. she sees herself in the trees and the soil.. in the endless possibilities of faraway galaxies and shooting stars.. she has faith in the unexplainable.. she recognizes her place in the larger system of living creatures.. she is honored to be a part of the intricate systems of this life.. God her universe and her universe is God and she knows that God is love and light and love and light live within her.. there is God in all things..

 

i am constantly humbled by the gift God has given me.. by the chance to spread the love of God through poetry.. i fall to my knees in praise.. i am overwhelmed.. i feel the spirit moving in me..

 

i am spirituality.. i find faith in a God that knew that value of my existence even before i was ever created.. i believe so deeply in destiny, in the light.. that i was crafted for a special purpose that has already been predestined and predetermined for me by my creator.. greatness is what i was created to be and i feel that in my spirit.. my spirit self is the ultimate combination of all things me, all things ree, uniting all the things in my world and myself.. recognizing the interconnectedness of all things.. recognizing how big and small i am, at the exact same time..
